Parallel and Distributed Systems
Computer systems have increasingly become intelligent, interacting with humans and physical environments in real-time, as part of the societal infrastructure. This evolution of computer systems inevitably raised paradigm shifts toward complex parallel and distributed computing as a means of processing a very large amount of data. The primary goal of our research is to establish the principles and mechanisms of parallel and distributed systems for the emerging cyber-physical infrastructure. Of particular interest includes the following research projects:- Scalable Parallel Algorithms
- Hierarchical Parallelization
- Embedded Multi-Core
- GPU Computing
- Cloud Computing
- Operating Systems
- Real-Time Systems
- Traffic Simulations
- Autonomous Driving
- Plasma and Fusion Control
