Next-generation Automotive LAN

Managing the increasing complexity of ECUs, which are computers for automotive control and their number in a vehicle, has become a key point in the automotive industry. ECUs connect to automotive LAN, which is a network communications protocol, such as the control area network (CAN) and assume the role of accurate vehicle control. In the future, electronic control using X-by-wire technology is expected to become real-time protocols and dependable systems for automotive LANs. The main objectives of this research is to develop a post next-generation automotive LAN and to propose international standards.
